About Us

Welcome to the Society for a Better Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Archbishop Nienstedt has been planning for the future Archdiocese but not involving parishioners in those discussions.  A group got together and started The Society to motivate everyone in determining the Archdiocese's future by inspiring an open, positive, and constructive exchange of ideas.

We want to stimulate discussions that involve everyone in establishing our proper response together and to help plan a better future for all of us in a modern world.

"All people have a right to participate in the economic, political, and cultural life of society. It is a fundamental demand of justice and a requirement for human dignity that all people be assured a minimum level of participation in the community."
